Stop Building Servers

Make love, not servers…or whatever. Just go build a great game.

Let’s paint you a quick picture.

You are looking for a home. You have the choice between buying a house or building one yourself. Although building a house that perfectly fits your specific preferences and needs is alluring in theory, actually building a house is an incredibly difficult process. You have to draw out construction plans, possibly hire a contractor, purchase building material, and many more things. However, buying a house that you love, that fits your needs is a much simpler and far less onerous task.

The same concept applies to building game servers. You have your game idea. You know what you want and need to make it happen, but going about building a server is standing in your way. Building a server on your own is a tall order. It’s complicated and time-consuming and many people do not know where to begin which deters them from creating great games altogether. Game developers should not spend their energy building servers, they should be creating great games.

There are a handful of server solutions out there already. However, most of these existing server solutions we see out there provide you with canned reports for things they think are important. These are helpful solutions, but one size does not fit all in regard to game servers. What if you want to do something more complicated and specific to your game? Your game is unique with unique needs and may not reach its full potential through these existing server solutions.

We at GamerGraph provide plenty of prefabs which allow you to create versatile pre-saved game objects for reuse which in turn make it easier for developers to turn their game ideas into a reality while also allowing them to alter and evolve their game according to the data and metrics with which we also provide developers here at GamerGraph. We also have Developer Advocates available via chat or email to support you and your needs directly whenever need be.

The game industry alone is evolving past those working at its core. It is full of older outdated creators who are very secretive about what they do and how they do it, which is ironic considering how rapidly technology evolves and changes and these older creators are responsible for so much of the vastly used technology the public utilizes presently. GamerGraph wants to change this strange facet of the gaming industry. We want you to succeed because let’s be honest, the world needs better games and we want to help you create them.
